Profile: Dinah Rakhim

About Dinah Rakhim : Dinah Rakhim obtained Bachelor of Art & Design in Industrial Design (Hons.) in 2011 from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia and has 7 years working experiences in the kitchen industry locally and abroad. Her kitchen design can be found in Bahrain and Kuala Lumpur by several brands. Currently, she is working full time as a freelancer kitchen consultant while pursuing her postgraduate in kitchen study. Since she first introduced to kitchen industry 7 years ago, her passion towards kitchen grew larger and larger. She would stop and look at every kitchen showroom she passed by and when visiting people's houses, kitchen is the first area she's interested in. She felt like kitchen will keep evolving as human behavior is changing from time to time. Our lifestyle evolve around kitchen and a good kitchen makes a happy household. Now, with the current issue on Covid19, she felt like people are starting to go back working in the kitchen. Many would spend more time in the kitchen then before and more people starting to learn to cook since it is part of survival skill. A kitchen does make an impact in human survival by helping the household in delivering food on the table and nothing is more important when you have a good and practical kitchen to help you achieve the task and makes the performance better. Her dream which she is currently in progress is to design and hoping to produce a tool-less kitchen that is affordable and sustainable. The aims is to help people around the world who still have dozens in not owning a proper kitchen or having bad condition in cooking activity. She is also an activist and joins NGO for women and child's right, producing videos to spread message on psychological abuse. She also made many videos for YouTube and Facebook on travel and recently started blogging about it.
