About Calvin Lim : Calvin's passion for design can be traced back during his pre-professional days. Whether in his daily life to his professional days till became the founder of Ideas People and he believes every evolution must be a design-centric approach - A designer by day and thinker by night. He currently leads Ideas People, an award-winning design agency in Singapore that specializes in communication and branding. With more than 15 years of experiences in the profession, Calvin’s works have earned himself in multiple awards. That includes a consecutive 2 years awarded by K-Design Award, German Design Award and Bronze Winner (in graphic design catalog category) by International Design Award, etc. He is a firm believer that a good design addresses the needs of an everyday person. From the first moment when you wake up to the mode of transportation to places where we work, design is always involved around us. It got to be subtle to catch your attention and practical to use. This is the simple rules that he believes should implement throughout all good design.
