I believe, design as a term will help all of them. But, the designer should consider only one of them.
Therefore, if I do this, I should want to do this. Not just it's asked/ordered to do. Because, everybody can design. We as designers have a choice of to ask "why" & "who".
"It will be more than a product if you love what you design."
The effort to put on a design with passion is not just a thing that you do in the past. It becomes one of your memories to remember what you did and what you felt.
