The company’s mission is to conceive and build the finest conservatories and classically themed glass structures in the world. It is internationally recognized for its design and manufacturing excellence. Alan sits on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Architecture Department at Delaware Technical College. He recently founded the “Conservatory Heritage Foundation”, an organization dedicated to the world-wide conservation and promotion of historic conservatories. His forthcoming book, “Conservatory Architecture” chronicles the development and resurgence of interest in the historic glasshouses of the 19th century. STATEMENT OF ART:Design is the art and science of connecting our known world with the unknown and unseen. The greatest works of art are the remnants of a visionary experience that transcends our normal perceptions. When authentic, the visionary does not construct but uncovers an independently existing manifestation. It is merely revealed to the artist at that moment.
