Profile: Arnold Leon Mugagga

About Arnold Leon Mugagga : Born and raised in East Africa, Arnold Leon Mugagga studied and works in Uganda currently. After receiving a Bachelors degree in Environmental Design with Architecture, Arnold decided to pursue something beyond Architecture. Identifying consumer and user patterns grew an interest to product design for him. After work evenings were and continue to be spent solving problems with design solutions. With the help of his friends, Arnold works with a dedicated small team of peers to have a go at designing and possibly manufacturing design solutions for the local population. As a believer of simplicity, the work they strive to do does not take fancy ornamental shapes, but is rooted extremely on functional convenience. As a team, they believe design should be as minimal as possible so as to function without distraction from object's inherent purpose.
