From simple to complex, art is everywhere and is whatever you make of it. I love to take a subject matter and turn it into something I feel. I am an artist who is also a deeply empathetic person. When I paint a portrait of someone I use colors that display their emotions not the color of their skin. I personally love to use bright or neon colors because the color sensation always makes me happy. My artistic styles range on a broad spectrum from abstract, realistic, whimsical & beyond.
My artwork revolves around color theory, illusions and conveying emotions. My work ranges from all mediums from paintings, video documentaries, graphic design, sculptures & much more. It’s hard for me to pick just one medium because the style or textures I want to achieve is not easily done with only one. Even my graphic design involves my paintings sometimes as a base design. I don’t just interpret my subject matter I listen, feel, learn & understand what it is and what I want it to become. I thoroughly analyze everything I take on and if I don’t know, I research or teach myself to become an expert in any situation. I love to leave my audience hypnotized and curious of what the deeper meaning could be.
Growing up, I’ve had a rough, almost unbearable life of facing many hardships that forced me to grow up early & almost lose everything. The only thing that kept me alive today is being inspired by music and being able to release my emotions into my art. Art helps me live by having a way to escape my current woes, relieve stress & become whole again. With everything I suffered I always try to remain optimistic and never give up. As many great artists quote variations in their music, “what does not kill me, makes me stronger,” German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche.
