| STATEMENT OF ART: Design and something more – an INTENTION. Design does not only mean the exploring of the significance of something in order to reach its all-embracing tenor, it is more than the mere act of hasty sketching – it’s an ATTITUDE. SLM.07 ORGANIZATION: Susana Leão Machado Design, Unipessoal Lda EDUCATION: • Graduation (1990-1994), ESAD • Escola Superior de Arte e Design - Matosinhos - Portugal, graduated in the Course of Studies in Design in Visual Communication option. EXPERIENCE: • Work experience Since 2007 > Exerts functions in slmdesign® as designer/creative director. 1994-2006 > Designer at João Machado Design Ltd, a distinct company and very credible in the market in this industry, recognized nationally and internationally. Had the opportunity to collaborate with the sculptor João Machado, a relevant fact to the development the knowledge acquired in graphic design and at the computer level. Implemented numerous proposals in various criative areas of Design and Communication (Logos, Stationary, Brochures, Flyers, Posters, Postcards, Flyers, Newsletters, Magazines, Catalogs, Books, Annual Reports, having great impact on the editorial area). • Trainee 1993 > Profissional training at the company D.M.P. - Direct Marketing and Advertising, where had opportunity to have direct contact with definition and implementation of marketing campaigns.
