John Honeyman
John moved from Montreal Canada to Playa Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in 2002. John has worked and played in graphic and environmental design all of his life. Since settling in Costa Rica a camera has become his weapon of choice. Beachworks grew out of the bountiful pickings waiting for patient beachcombers on Playas Santa Teresa, Hermosa de Cobano, and Manzanillo.
The bowls and baskets of sandy stuff were soon to become fodder for late-night Macfoto manipulation and strangely, many revealed echoes of artifacts from civilizations distant both in space and in time.
John now lives in Bijagua de Upala, Costa Rica.
A life devoted to the search for beauty in the ordinary and the extraordinary. A lateral approach to problems and projects.
