FS: What is "design" for you?
HC: It's my life, including everything in it.
FS: When do you feel the most creative?
HC: For my day, I'm most creative late at night.
FS: What makes a design successful?
HC: Shared values, consistent goals and corresponding strengths.
FS: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?
HC: Whether it's a friend or a client, the question I'm often asked is "Do you think it's okay?" . This is a seemingly simple but really difficult question.
FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
HC: It is a very unique restaurant with a large wedding reception room and an artistic area. It is very interesting that the dining area and the public area can be interchanged and used on demand.
