FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
PA: 當我還是學業階段的時候，本人對"機械風"以及"數碼龐克"的風格情有獨鍾，同時影響本人的作畫風格，在創作時也流露著這份對未來的幻想。
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
PA: Pure Studio was founded in 2018, specializes in design related production. The company provides a variety of pre-production work; illustration & Mural painting; movie painting and conceptual design for movie pictures, games and real products. We have a strong passion for subtle innovations, and a commitment to the highest quality of design and production for our clients.
FS: What is "design" for you?
PA: 本人覺得"設計"是一種令人感驚喜的東西，同時也會令人有所留戀的感覺。
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
PA: We trend to make the mural illustration that would display in indoor or outdoor area to enhance the taste of decoration.
FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
PA: 本人十分喜愛數碼龐克的設計風格，特別是那種霓虹燈和未來的科技感。
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
PA: Our first design is about novel cover, the style of illustration is using fantasy art.
FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
PA: Our favorite tool to create illustration is about AR technology that show the motion graphic to enhance the perfect scene for audience.
FS: When do you feel the most creative?
PA: When I listen the ASMR song, I would feel it.
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
PA: 在設計當中，我們非常重視視覺概念的部份。再好的創意也需要以更好的美術表現出來。
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
PA: 在設計的時候，我的心會感受到一種推動力，非常興奮和活力。
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
PA: I would feel excited and so much fantasy in my mind.
FS: What makes a design successful?
PA: 我相信認真和勇於嘗試對設計的成功會有十分大的幫助。
FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
PA: I think good visualization with related concept are the most important aspects for me to judge the design.
FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
PA: 我覺得作為好的設計者不但要能做出好作品，更重要的是要能教育後輩，讓有價值的經驗能分享給他們。
FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
PA: I think "design field" would enhance to digital field deeply, AR, VR, NFT, and Metaverse would become the mainstream
FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
PA: 回憶第一次的展覽是在香港舉行，希望下一次能在日本進行我的"數碼龐克"展。
FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
PA: 絕大部份的概念來自動畫片集和音樂MV等等… 而且也不時觀看一些美術展覽以增進自己的幻想力。
FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
PA: 我的設計風格遍科幻與數碼龐克的感覺，因為平時我有砌模型的習慣，對配件上的形狀和裝拼感到好期，並令我的靈感非常澎湃，所以本人的設計帶著機械及科幻的元素。
FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
PA: I live in Hong Kong, think the cultural factor is not really affect our design thinking, Hong Kong still can stand the open mind slight for people to explore the information on the world.
FS: How do you work with companies?
PA: 我們會在設計中的每一階段都加以討論，希望在討論中提升作品質素。
FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
PA: 不論工作或自家品牌，我和我的拍擋合作無間，由前期至後期也製作製作。
FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
PA: We are making some illustrations for ASMR function this year.
