FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
CDT: I have been dealing with new product concepts and product management in the ceramic tile industry my entire professional career. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, specialization - Ceramics Design - Utilitarian and Artistic. During my studies and immediately afterwards, I was already designing. Then in 2006, I started working more in product development, where I combined my design and commercial skills and related them to the analysis of customer needs.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
CDT: CERRAD has a separate Product Development Department within its structures. We work in both, the development of new technologies and innovations, as well as in the ceramic tile design itself. We combine the implementation and development of new technologies with the current industrial design.
