FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
PB: I have been always interested in theatre and/or films; In my opinion, I see the world as a theatre, and every individual has a performing role. For instance, every individual's personality can be revealed by the type and the color of the clothes they choose to wear. Self-expression is complex for some people; having an individual style gives these people the ability to show their personality and beliefs, which intrigues me. My interest in fashion has grown by expressing myself with diverse types.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
PB: "Parbahani" is my design studio and brand, which was established in 2007. I've been working on my designs in my studio, and I wish one day I can grow them to international branches.
FS: What is "design" for you?
PB: Design is the basis of life. everything in this world is designed accurately; So, if there were no designer, there wouldn't be earth or human being. Fashion, to me, is an art. It is a concept that interprets in numerous ways for everyone, which, for me, makes it fascinating- everyone has a unique style.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
PB: Sustainability in fashion and apparel is the primary focus of the climate crisis. So, creating a more sustainable and greener future is my personal goal.
