Interview with Langcer Lee at Tuesday 28th of April 2020 FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer? LL: Graduated from a non-art major, with no foundation in painting and design. Since childhood, I love patterns and colors,always want to be a designer. FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio? LL: We are a group of lovers of design, but none of them are professional partners of design background. Through self-study, the high-end boutique design studio is established. FS: What is "design" for you? LL: Design is a spiritual sustenance, a reflection of self-worth, and a source of happiness FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? LL: Packaging Design.We can always think of some very creative ideas in combination with our undergraduate majors FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it? LL: Packaging design for tobacco, alcohol and tea. FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company? LL: Design our own LOGO FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology? LL: Favorite special paper material and relief hot stamping FS: When do you feel the most creative? LL: late at night FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing? LL: While ensuring a beautiful design, it meets the needs and perceptions of consumers FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design? LL: Heartfelt happiness and excitement FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized? LL: Full of accomplishment and pride FS: What makes a design successful? LL: Insight into the needs of the market and consumers, maintain sufficient creative desire and passion FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first? LL: Relevance and recognition of products
