FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
SA: I've been creatively inclined ever since I could hold a crayon, where the canvas was the wall. This further matured into my current passion for animation, and illustration.

SA: A board game cover illustration.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
SA: Definitely the digital media. Using a graphics tablet and a raster software to illustrate.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
SA: When I've had a good cup of coffee, and I'm in my work space, things fall into place.

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
SA: Since I'm pursuing animation, it's definitely the impact my product has on it's viewer. What sort of feeling I want to evoke, etc.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
SA: Excitement initially, which is then followed up by determination.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
SA: Reassured, and content.

FS: What makes a design successful?
SA: If it's able to change ones perception, mood, towards something, I feel it's done well.

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
SA: If its achieved it's main purpose. Then secondly, the presentation and over all appeal.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
SA: To help make peoples lives better, through saving time, providing visual treats, or others.

FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
SA: I have never held or been in an exhibition.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
SA: Inspiration can come from anything, anywhere. I mostly however, pick up on elements from various social medias, as they are brimming with fresh new content.

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
SA: I live in India, and I do feel for certain pieces I have done, that it has affected the way I've drawn certain things.

FS: How do you work with companies?
SA: I usually go online on job websites such as freelancer and through them, discover people to work with.

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
SA: Through a well rounded portfolio.
