FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
AI: I went to Tokyo as a high school graduate. Majored in international affairs at college, and was attracted by new, various designs that popped into my eyes while living as a Tokyoite.Commercial and shop interior designs especially got my attention, and went to a night design school while continuing attending the college.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
AI: We work in a variety of designs, including restaurants, bars, cafes and clinics, welfare facilities, retail stores and office designs, mainly in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.
FS: What is "design" for you?
AI: Design enriches my life
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
AI: Decorative design
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
AI: small restaurant
