Interview with 2Republic BTL Reklámügynökség at Thursday 13th of June 2019

FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
BR: Not to be a designer but understand the way of design consciously, that was the goal! Design for us is the way of problem solution. Always reveal problems around the news task, bring new ideas and apply the best one.

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
BR: Design Lab is an interesting department of ti:me agency where we develop products, concepts and we make an shortcut to PR possibilities! We believe that the good design must be published as soon as possible!

FS: What is "design" for you?
BR: Solve a problem!

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
BR: Doorhandle

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
BR: Now days is more and more focus on recycling and sustainable design. I think we have to think that way of materials.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
BR: If the product is a good solution from idea to the production. People love it and they want to use it!

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
BR: From hell to haven :D in one sec.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
BR: Proud and excited.

FS: What makes a design successful?
BR: People love and they wan to have it.

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
BR: If the world need it or not. If it gives a good solution or not.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
BR: Think sustainable, give good solution for problems, for real problems!

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
BR: Design must be conscious! Now and in the future! Environmental friendly consideration is essential.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
BR: Deadline is the most creative thing in my life :D

FS: How do you work with companies?
BR: It is always a team work. There is a three pillar base according to we are working each time when designing and inventing

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
BR: Small and middle companies don't see how important it is to think in design and stylish solutions! I wish they would have a good eye to spot it; it is the best solution for any product on market.

FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
BR: Discover, Design, Define! that is all :)

FS: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
BR: Open up the eyes and ears! Ask as many interdisciplinary expert as you can, and map the costumers problems!

FS: What is your "golden rule" in design?
BR: Try, and do it again better.

FS: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
BR: one week, one year :) It depends on the projects status, complications and colleagues featured to the project

FS: What are your future plans? What is next for you?
BR: We would like to open up the eyes of companies to believe that design is more than marketing alone! Design can lead marketing, but marketing can mislead design sometimes.

FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
BR: Design Lab is a team of professionals who designed this specific product! Team work is better!
