FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
IKAOB: It seemed that our team exists for ages already. We were always fans of 8-bit computer graphics and game consoles. In some way we are trying to restore the golden age of second and third generation consoles, where graphics were aesthetically pleasing.
FS: What is "design" for you?
IKAOB: It is a state of mind. It is the way of living. It is an approach to a problem. It is how you see the world around you.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
IKAOB: Our main works are digital toys and their versatility in the real life.
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
IKAOB: Beauty in her simplicity in perfect performance
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
IKAOB: It is the best feeling when you are satisfied with your design. You can be proud and happy.
FS: What makes a design successful?
IKAOB: The Design was once about making products winning. Nowadays, it is a way of thinking: a creative process driven by desire to better introduce your idea and meet consumer needs. Your Design is successful when it make the product useful, understandable, and aesthetic.
FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
IKAOB: The first and main aspect is that you can fall in love with that design.
FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
IKAOB: Comparing last century and modern design we can definitely see a huge difference in principls, colors, materials, shapes. We realize that the differences are global. But with life changes the main trends in design come along with the people's needs.
FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
IKAOB: Last one was on February 2018 - PIXIO was exhibited in Toy Fair in Nuremberg Spielwarenmesse.
FS: How do you work with companies?
IKAOB: We have our own company.
