FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
FG: Fabrizio Guarrasi, young product designer, borns in Marsala in 1990. His works experiences in London for MorcoBlinds and in Tokyo for Mitsubishi Electric builds himself under professional and human aspect. Currently he is studying and working in Milan as freelance and as a designer for Claudio Bellini Design + Design Studio.Deeply passionate for design's world and human beings, he is inclined regarding all modeling's fields, phisic and computing. Attention to details, excessive precision and his will to exceed always his expectations are all aspects that distinguish himself. He strongly believe in the idea that “we are not born, but we grow up and become someone”.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
FG: I am a freelance designer and I am working as well for Claudio Bellini Design + Design
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
FG: To be honest I do not have one particular field that I prefer, product design of course can be on of the most but not only. I also love strategic design, visioning and design thinking.
FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
FG: I love all natural materials such as wood, natural fiber and stones in general. Also bioplastic has strong potential
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
FG: Humans and environment at first. Aesthetic and function come from the first two.
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
FG: Peacefull, serenety, sense of duty and of course happiness
