Interview with Jingfeng Huang at Monday 24th of April 2017 FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer? JH: Graduated from Guangdong Ocean University in 2011, bachelor degree, major in art and design, in Zhanjiang, china. In a Shantou University art and design open class, and Mr.Kan Tai-keung dialogue. From that moment, I want to be a designer. FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio? JH: Studio in Shantou, there are delicious beef balls. FS: What is "design" for you? JH: Design, in order to solve the problems arising in the course of life, make life better. FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? JH: The work that makes life better is my favorite work. FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it? FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company? JH: Deep understanding of the company, not based on the nature of the company's design is empty talk. And when do you want to hold your next exhibition? JH: In Shanghai, China, I hope to be able to step out of the country. FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations? JH: Inspiration comes from life, I often read some books in the rest of the time, the curiosity of things is the source of my creative design. Especially in a country with five thousand years of history and culture, those civilizations have not broken and colorful civilization is always so mysterious, always so attractive. FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design? JH: East, because living in this deep cultural soil. Style is to try to make the design can be the perfect integration in life. FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country? JH: Living in Guangdong, China, by the country's cultural heritage. The advantage is that the design cost is relatively low, everyone can consume.
