Skyworth Digital is a public company traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Today, Skyworth Digital dominates the Chinese domestic market and is currently in the top 4 globally for total global shipments . The company is continually improving itself with renewed innovations including a new focus on networking, digitalization, and other technologies focused on the smart home.

FS: What is "design" for you?
HH: "Design” for me is like a tools,a way of thinking,a way of creative. What i think is that Design is a way to solve a problem as well.

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
HH: Furniture Design is one of my most interesting.

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
HH: Kenya Hara’s Humidifier, a natural humidifier with no electro-mechanical parts.Daring to use paper as his base material, Hara applied a coating of hydrophobic aerosol developed by NTT Advanced Technology Corporation. Imbued with a surface microstructure similar to that of a lotus leaf, the paper causes most of the water placed on it to turn immediately into round drops. With the transformation of a fixed amount of water into many small balls, the increased surface area accelerates the evaporation of the water and makes apparent the humidifying effect. Because the water need not be heated, the humidifier requires zero energy.

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
HH: A Bluetooth speaker which has a feature of tv box.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
HH: Wood which is a nature material can be a part of our life anywhere

FS: When do you feel the most creative?

HH: Passion and never enough

FS: What makes a design successful?
HH: Perfect combine outline and function

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
HH: I will consider the "reasons", what is the point to design something like that? Not just a beautiful shape. Moreover, Good design is as little design as possible.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
HH: Designer should lead society more friendly to our living environment in a positive way.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
HH: It is come from "Memphic Group" who produced many memorable pieces of colorful, bright, and innovative furniture, lighting, and textiles, and even clock.

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
