Interview with Lin Ding at Sunday 23rd of April 2017 FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer? LD: I am a designer in the enterprise, the design work is often related to the production of the product, but I have not given up more artistic design attempt. FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio? LD: I work for my company's UX team to provide high availability, multi platform visual solutions for the company's products. FS: What is "design" for you? LD: Design is my interest and my major, I am very happy to design innovation, to solve problems for users and products. FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? LD: I like the creative graphics visual design, clear, intuitive graphics tell others what I want to express. FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company? LD: I need to have a clear understanding of the needs of the design, the purpose of the design and the problems to be solved. FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design? LD: In the face of a problem with a design solution, if I do not understand the field and object, I just start to feel at a loss, but through research and understanding, I will excited when I get a good idea. FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized? LD: I will feel that my thoughts are understood, the mood will be greatly encouraged.
