Interview with Fernando Valdez Lopez at Wednesday 26th of April 2017 FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio? FVL: We believe in teamwork and opportunity as an strategy for the design process, we have this ‘rule’ of asking the following question: ‘what could happen if…?’ During sketching, modeling and reviews. Answers provide possibilities and innovation, and this is our motor, by opinion and creativity, we join ideas able to find the best solution for our clients. FS: What is "design" for you? FVL: The use of different construction materials to create unique spaces and achieve hybrids looking for new ways of living. FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most? FVL: In the studio, we basically design small, medium and big scale for housing, retail and office buildings. I prefer vertical housing and office buildings because they contribute to the city if intended as an urban plan. FS: What is your "golden rule" in design? FVL: To prove that innovation is always possible. FS: How can people contact you? FVL: By email: fer@mgvaldez.com
