FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
PL: Leading motive for me as a designer is to create things, Images and translate emotions which I lack. I never wanted to become a designer, but, it happened so, I always was the one. ))
FS: What is "design" for you?
PL: Generating new meanings, materializing your imagination and sharing the feelings it produces, with the surrounding world. It’s a way to communicate, to find people, who are on your “wave” and the ones responding your signals.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
PL: The ones where the client says “I totally trust you, do whatever you wish”.))
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
PL: A massage table. Recalling it gives me goose pimples.
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
PL: Full specter, from absolute happiness of inspiration, to the depths of depressive desperation.
FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
PL: Usually I feel absolutely unsatisfied. And I think it’s good.
FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
PL: From my point of view inspiration is a state of mind. When you are in the right mood, everything might inspire you. I think, observing the forest life, music and ancient architecture are my favorites.
