FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
LC: When I was child.I am good at paintng.I always design my house and friends house .

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
LC: I just graduated interior design school .I open my design studio recently,

FS: What is "design" for you?
LC: Love

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
LC: Furniture ,bookshelf .

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
LC: i design coffe cup .I like drinking turkish coffee .I designed turkısh coffee cup.

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
LC: Must be unique ,trendy and functional,timeless.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
LC: Brass and copper .both are pure and natural.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
LC: on holiday.

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
LC: Golden ratio.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
LC: Very happy .

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
LC: proud of my self.

FS: What makes a design successful?
LC: To be unique.

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
LC: to be interesting ,cool and elegant.to be chic.bad thing is ,cheap looking.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
LC: save enviorment.sustainability.

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
LC: sustainability .

FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
LC: non

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
LC: From Montreal .Canada. colors from nature .Autumn leaves.shape of design from Mondrian painting.

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
LC: Less is Cool and great.Elegant,timeless.

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
LC: Istanbul, not realy it is universal as named. 4 seasons love.

FS: How do you work with companies?
LC: Sell design and comission from the sales revenue.

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
LC: Good designer has own style.They have to figure out their style and find out right matches.

FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
LC: Hand sketching and coloring ,research trendy materials.

FS: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
LC: painting,sculpters,coffee tables ,lighting.sofas.

FS: Can you describe a day in your life?
LC: early wake up,work out.organize house and office work and manage them,meet with friends,family dinner ,listening music.not late goto bed.

FS: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
LC: travel alot ,see many cultures.visit fairs abot design.

FS: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
LC: it is very good to create new things ,

FS: What is your "golden rule" in design?
LC: less is cool.respect golden ratio .

FS: What skills are most important for a designer?
LC: sharp eyes.to be vizyoner.

FS: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
LC: hand sketching,pencil ,color pencils,,autocad ,3dmax,internet ,

FS: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
LC: it is very easy for me no need too much time.

FS: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
LC: very short ,sometimes 1 hour .complation 1 week.

FS: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?
LC: design furniture .

FS: What are your future plans? What is next for you?
LC: design furniture or object and sell them.

FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
LC: my self.

FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
LC: I am designing coffee cup .I worked with grape ball pieces ,

LC: design must be unique and my motto is less is cool and great.
