FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
MII: N/A
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
MII: Mandartech Interiors Inc. was established in 1996. The firm provides interior design and construction management services for corporate offices, hospitality and retail projects. The mission for Mandartech is to be the best professional and reputable firm in this field. For the past decade, Mandartech has successfully completed several headquarters offices of the leading Taiwan brands, such as TSMC, Quanta , Mediatek, Chunghwa Telecom, ASE, Taishing, Chinatrust, Hsinyi Realty and Fubon, as well as other international brands such as Philips, Lenovo, Ogilvy, Publicis and Starwood headquarters office. In 2007, Mandartech began to participate in the design and management of commercial space planning and management of domestic and international brand restaurants, hotels, boutique and other commercial space, including: American Club Taipei, Wang Steak, W HOTEL, Mandarin Oriental Taipei, The Westin Tashee Resort, Miramar Golf Country Club, Hotel Royal Hsinchu, Palau Royal Resort, Mercedes-Benz Exhibition Center and the opening of the end of 2015 Suzhou Eslite. Currently, there are over 80 professionals, including interior designers, architects, construction managers and administration staff, in both Taipei and Shanghai offices. Mandartech customizes its services for every project. All projects receive personal attentions from the firm’s chief principals. Mandartech has also cooperated with various international designers, and is expert in introducing the trendiest design concepts and solutions to provide the innovative services for the clients.
