FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
NF: We are a young, aspiring and upcoming interior design firm with 15 staff members. We have in the previously years honed our skills in designing residential projects and in the past one year ventured into commercial projects to explore further and bigger ideas.

FS: What is "design" for you?
NF: Design improves life, increase efficiency and encourages appreciations for aesthetics.

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
NF: Homes

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
NF: Simple but with depth. Don't have to spend a bomb or think excessively. Keep it simple and practical.

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
NF: Home

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
NF: Wood / Timber

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
NF: Early morning and when a team brainstorms.

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
NF: Conceptualizing

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
NF: Inspired

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
NF: Lifted

FS: What makes a design successful?
NF: Suited and thoughtful

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
NF: Good, because there are always good points to begin with.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
NF: To take all aspects into consideration into the design - for the client, the environment, society and future.

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
NF: Better and people are more conscious about the importance of design.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
NF: Books, magazine and travels.

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
NF: Young and Bold

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
NF: Kuala Lumpur. It is not exactly a design city. Hence we have to be smart in finding inspirations. However, it is a good place to explore and introduce design ideas as it is still growing.

FS: How do you work with companies?
NF: Professionally and develop a long term working relationship.

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
NF: Research into a designer's track record and contribution to the society.

FS: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
NF: Wireless power points, refrigerator, air conditioning unit, vacuum cleaner
