FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
IL: Great design products, Buildings, paintings made me become an designer.

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
IL: SOtM is high performance audio manufacture. Made various audio products.

FS: What is "design" for you?
IL: Design is key to open human mind.

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
IL: Products design.

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
IL: ....

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
IL: Model name is mDAC-2v. it is audio component for desktop audio system.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
IL: Aluminum.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
IL: ...

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
IL: Outline design and placement of design elements.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?

IL: Combination of all design elements.

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
IL: it must focused there function.

IL: From the functional of design product.

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
IL: My design style is modern, functional and as simple as possible.

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
IL: South Korea. Yes. our country cultural heritage affects my design.

FS: How do you work with companies?

IL: Company have to help designer understand products functions, how to use.. that makes designer work better.

IL: Study products functions, collect exterior component,

IL: Refrigerator, Cleaner, Bed, Sofa,

IL: So busy....

FS: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
IL: Think as you are the design item, products user.

FS: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
IL: ...

IL: Make harmonious placement of all design elements.

FS: What skills are most important for a designer?
IL: Imagination.

IL: i think about new design all the time.

IL: 1 Month to 3 Month.
