FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
KT: Monocircus is a design studio that I started along with my partner, my wife, in 2011. We work from a room in our own home in Fukuoka, Japan. My wife is an artist and we work together quite closely in all the design projects we have been doing over the years.
FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
KT: When developing a design, I have discussions with my partner over an idea and through the conversations, more ideas are thrown in. As the discussion proceeds, the design idea gets concretised and gradually takes shape.
