FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
AMV: Since i was a child, i always felt the design in me, and i known that one day i would be a designer. I loved to see how things where made and the details of objets and architecture.
FS: What is "design" for you?
AMV: Design is a great tool to help people and improve their quality of life, in all respects.
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
AMV: I like design furniture and objects related to cooking.
FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
AMV: My favorite material is the wood.
FS: When do you feel the most creative?
AMV: i haven´t a place or a moment where i feel inspirited. An idea can appear everywhere and in any moment. But at night, when everyone is sleeping and the street is silence probably is the best time for me.
FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
AMV: Depending the design and how complex be, but could be how to produce it.
FS: What makes a design successful?
AMV: A satisfied user.
FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
AMV: The coherence between function - philosophy - materials - aesthetic
