FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
NJ: I started by studying architecture in Paris /France, and I have to admit my appreciation about french architecture schools accentuation on arts which is unique , and I found my interest in design in that period . in 2011 I went to Iran and got inspired by local artisans over there , then I started Interior Design ( continuing ) education courses in Hunter College in NYC in September 2015 . all along the way I took part of different kinds of internships and experiences , which I believe they had a very strong influence on my professional course.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
NJ: It's a home office with interest in every aspects of design , as I am an architect too , this gives me a wide range of designing field to work on .
FS: What is "design" for you?
NJ: Art of living Art of solving problems in a sophisticated way
FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
NJ: I mostly enjoy the "design process " , no matter Im working on an object or an urban site . I wish to design a whole house , from A to Z , architecture to the fork and spoons , everything .
FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
NJ: A modular furniture for a project in a specific climatologic area .
