In my work, interior, contract, industrial, exhibit and graphic / communication receives "the apology sensory" that accompanies my every gesture in a design process that my hand and my mind want to carry in heart, in eyes, in minds of the people who live and use my projects. A new point of view, focused on the world of sense, free from "stakes" traditional, calibrated and gestures aimed at simplifying "the exaltation of feelings." Characterized by rounded shapes and enveloping my design model, plasma every single shape, continually seeking the wonder in the modern world with the merger between wonder and convenience.

AM: Live in Italy, Piedmont, in the lower Monferrato, Unesco Heritage area. We are all children of the culture where we are born, but I think we must develop our own design guidelines if we want to create something new and innovative. Here we perceive the routine, to maintain a style now consolidated over time, but we should reverse the route, imagine giving new lifeblood and create beauty

AM: Trust, the sense of creating a product that has a significant sales force, but at the same time a production development in total harmony with the company

FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
AM: AM+D and his dynamic team create environments, situations and moods at times provocatively inspired in contrast with the outside world, not for the sake of the inverse, but in order to induce new long lasting sensations and emotions. In all his work, whether design (interior, contract, industrial, exhibit), graphics or communication, the “sensory apology” is clearly evident. It is a design concept which AM wishes to bring to people’s heart, sight and mind through the actual drawing and the idea behind it.AM+D introduces a new perspective focusing on the senses , free from traditional “limits”, calculated to simplify gestures and aimed at “enhancing sensations”. Alessandro Marchelli’s design, which is characterized by a rounded enveloping style, shapes and defines every single form always in search of the wonder of today’s world where marvel and convenience merge.Over the years AM+D has been responsible for interior design and fitting projects both for contracts and home, as well as designer items for major companies. His works appear in articles in national and international magazines and books dealing with the field of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design.Study and pursuit of perfection are essential requirements of the philosophy of AM+D; they are the basis for innovative solutions and space creation which can inform passions with their charm and uniqueness and shape the environment in an inventive fashion. The need to highlight each and every project to provide maximum comfort and easy usage together with a new personalized aesthetic quality remains a constant priority.Translating imagination into reality …… this is our art and our way of thinking

In the morning we meet for a briefing, then with their duties we devote ourselves to development, who in the pipeline, who in the laboratory and who works the details, executive, until you get to the evening where you are and you tell the story day to find solutions and new ideas for the next day to be tackled with great enthusiasm

What attracts me is the free and sensual curve . Curve that meeting in the mountains and rivers of my country , in the clouds of heaven , in the waves of the sea, in the body of the favorite woman . is made of curves throughout the universe. curved universe of Einstein . "Ettore Sottsass : " Create design and make architecture also means designing a place where , at sunset , two friends sitting on the ground are told , slowly , the stories of their lives ."
