FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
DM: The Venice Biennale has a big influence in my life as a designer.

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
DM: When more than twenty years from now 3d modeling was set up in a form that could help me to create and to see my design in every possible space angle, I start to practice architectural design in a very devoted way.

FS: What is "design" for you?
DM: Design is a moment in time, when idea of creation came out from a pile of idea of possible solution for the creation

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
DM: Design is not a status of mind love to create something ,design is a gift to create everything that human needs in space.

FS: What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
DM: My Crane bird / Art museum that could land on all over the world

FS: What was the first thing you designed for a company?
DM: Movable expo information unit.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
DM: Steel, concrete, glass, fibre re-inforced plastic, composite and wood panels.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
DM: Always

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
DM: Organic and sculptural form of designe.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
DM: Good divine vibration becouse of making something, that will have a purpose as an object , and that could in the same time produce a good vibration for everyone that could feel that positive energy.

FS: What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
DM: Joy that the process of my design, could establish the communication with a real environment.

FS: What makes a design successful?
DM: The happiness of the people who could enjoy just to look or to use the space that I design.

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
DM: There is no good, or bad design , just the design that provoke or don't provoke the spectators .

FS: From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
DM: A great one.

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
DM: With a new materials ... but evolving couldn't happen, without an a good idea.

FS: When was your last exhibition and where was it? And when do you want to hold your next exhibition?
DM: In London in Vauxhall park...My next maybe in some gallery in Milano in Italy and Belgrade in Serbia off course.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
DM: LOVE in every magic way...

FS: How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?
DM: RUDNIK style ...

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
DM: In Kragujevac / Serbia. My place for living could be everywhere on earth, but the Serbia and my hometown Kragujevac, has a great people and the nature enviroment and it is well enough, for a good design inspiration so far...

FS: How do you work with companies?
DM: One-off contracts

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

FS: Can you talk a little about your design process?
DM: step by step , until the design itself has stopped to ask for another one step...

FS: What are 5 of your favorite design items at home?
DM: Lounge chair,table,lamp,sofa,kitchen as a full designe items.

FS: Can you describe a day in your life?
DM: Enjoying in time that I could spend with my wife and daughter, who gives me the positive energy and inspiration for good working conditions and the chance to design something new and beautiful.

FS: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
DM: First you look and "read" the masters design piece of art, to feel the energy and a path for creation , and when you feel inside that is the time to start ...create your own design with one special note... that the time for designing process is always in a comparative mode with the quality of the design itself.

FS: From your perspective, what would you say are some positives and negatives of being a designer?
DM: There is no negative way...the designing process is gods will , that's always results with a good cause.

FS: What is your "golden rule" in design?
DM: Do what you feel that is right to do ... and listen to your alter ego.

FS: What skills are most important for a designer?
DM: Computer skills just as an old school design with a paper and pencil.

FS: Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration etc.?
DM: Emotions, pencil, paper (for read and for write), computer.

FS: Designing can sometimes be a really time consuming task, how do you manage your time?
DM: when the design is in the right hands , there is always a time for everything

FS: How long does it take to design an object from beginning to end?
DM: Depends on a task, but always in time that could be expected .

FS: What is the most frequently asked question to you, as a designer?
DM: Where I find the inspiration for a designe ?

FS: What was your most important job experience?
DM: Art museum Taipei

FS: Who are some of your clients?
DM: Vauxhall One & RIBA Competitions, London/UK Ministry of culture ,Taipei Architectural Competition/ TAIWAN ROC Ministry of science,Belgrade Architectural Competition / SERBIA

FS: What type of design work do you enjoy the most and why?
DM: I enjoy in every type of design that is based on needs for an architectural creation

FS: What are your future plans? What is next for you?
DM: A new design creation for a new interesting people and spaces

FS: Do you work as a team, or do you develop your designs yourself?
DM: My design rises mostly as "me myself and J" production from beginning till the end but... it is always easier to work with a good team of professionals

FS: Do you have any works-in-progress being designed that you would like to talk about?
DM: Redesigne of my "TESLODROM" project / The designe for the Centre for Promotion of Sciences in Belgrade
