Building block air purifier

INSPIRATION:
Nowadays, the environmental pollution problem is getting worse and serious, and the air quality problem is being taken seriously. For a family, an air purifier cannot meet the needs of the whole family. The building block design can satisfy the use of an air purifier in three different spaces, and the corner design greatly saves space.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
JIMU is a block-type and corner-type air purifier. It consists of three different sizes of air purifier units. You can choose different size air purifier units according to the size of each room to meet the different needs of users . When the three units are combined, compared with the traditional air purifier, it covers a larger area, purifies the air pollution source more efficiently and quickly, and gives you a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Operation: JIMU uses a building block design and consists of three air purifier units of different sizes. Users can choose different size air purifier units according to the size of each room area to meet the different needs of users. Combining these three units, compared with the traditional air purifier, the purification coverage area is larger, and the pollution sources in the air will be more effective and faster purification, bringing you a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
It started in Zhengzhou in June 2018 and ended in July in Zhengzhou.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The air purifier body is made of frosted plastic and painted with metal paint, which is light in weight and low in cost. The base is made of synthetic rubber, which is convenient to use and difficult to scratch the floor. Plastic, which increases the user experience and does not leave fingerprints at the same time; the connection buckle of the air purifier is made of metal, which is durable.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The research type is descriptive research, and the research target is product research of target users and markets of air purifiers. The target users use questionnaires and user interviews to conduct research. The market research uses store surveys to experience the functions and user experience of existing air purifiers in the market at electrical stores. Investigate the product functions, promotion points, user evaluations, and descriptions of each brand on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Taobao, and Jingdong. Through the above surveys, determine the functions of JIMU, human-computer interaction, and target audiences.

CHALLENGE:
At the beginning of the project, the most difficult thing is that the internal structure, working principle and the entire structure of the product need to be thoroughly studied; the connection between the air cleaner units, what structure is used, what materials, so that human-machine Interactions are smoother.

	NAME: MIOO PROFILE: The air purifier is aimed at users who cannot meet the needs of life with an air purifier, and feels that the air purifier takes up too much space. MIOO works as a design studio founded in a university. Its members are university classmates, while maintaining an unlimited love for design.
