PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mask
INSPIRATION: There is no difference between wearing this kind of breathing mask and ordinary mask. The sensor is located close to the nasal cavity of the mask, which is the area with the largest airflow flux in the breathing space-time. When it is detected that there is infectious virus in the air, the mask will automatically sends the coordinates of the pollution area to the epidemic center. When people found each other's mask indicator lights up, they can also evacuate from the pollution area fast.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: At this moment, China is experiencing a new type of 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak. As a Chinese citizen, I am deeply saddened by the heavy damage my country is suffering and deeply feel the importance of quickly identifying and blocking affected areas when major infectious disease outbreak. So I designed this improved kn95 mask. In the event of a major infectious disease outbreak, it can quickly help outbreak regulators identify, block and warn people to stay away from contaminated areas.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The mask is made of nonwovens fabric and Melt blown material, which can reach kn95 filtration level. The clasp and shell are made of engineering plastics. It can effectively filter bacteria and viruses in the air when worn in epidemic area.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This research is the application research in product design. The goal of the study is to locate the epidemic area in real time when major infectious diseases occur. In the process of research, we have a discussion and determine the scheme by using software modeling. And then make more in-depth modifications and improvements to the details. Research tools are mainly electronic software. Participants were Honghe Gao, Wei Zhang, Xu Zeng, Yanzheng Wu and Shuo Wang. Finally, We completed the research objectives and designed this breathing mask.
CHALLENGE: The difficulty of this design is how to locate the infectious areas in real time with the spread of the virus.
