| DESIGN NAME: Out of Frame PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the work comes from the mode of getting along between the owner's husband and wife and children. During the meeting, they always talk about their own children and share the interaction process with us. Therefore, they can use the images outside and inside the frame to transform their memories into space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The homeowner hopes to cherish the time between parents and children, and then break the traditional established space impression. Therefore, instead of placing TV in the living room, he constructs a multi-faceted personalized wall as the exclusive background wall for parent-child interaction OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Based on the design concept of "less is more", the whole space focuses on functionality, rather than complex and luxurious decoration, but also the communication space between parents and children, infusing people's warmth. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Use the same gray, showing different touch and texture, use the gray mottled special paint on the wall to contrast the gray marble on the refined surface of the main wall of the living room, set off the gray level of peace, add a simple sense of fashion. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The overall design area is of 100 square meters, and located on the 10th floor of a building. TAGS: Simple style, Less is more, Parent-child Communication, Nature, Energy-Efficient, Residential, Interior Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: From the public areas to private domains, the overall space is based on a pure gray color scheme, uses wood grain to increase the space temperature, introduces natural light, and injects life into the space. The materials used in the living room and dining room echo each other, and the light background and dark furniture present a harmonious picture. The living room space is set as the exclusive interactive field between parents and children. The frame on the left side of the living room defines the value inside and outside the frame. Outside the box, is the child's memory,Inside the box, is the parent's memory, Strengthen the emotional connection between parents and children. However, a stone platform is set under the main wall of the living room, so that children can read or play on the platform, so that parents can catch the growth of children at all stages, Create a comfortable and pure classic image. CHALLENGE: he biggest challenge of the designer, is to learn through in-depth exchange of owners of lifestyle and design requirements, effectively increase the good interaction between parent and child, to incorporate the functional division of space, the use of the main living room wall below the level of the platform and multi-purpose room children can be comfortable reading and play in this space, to ensure the interaction between parents and children start.
