PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Interactive lighting

INSPIRATION:
The design concept is to hope that users can feel emotional lighting and create a space atmosphere. When the lamp is turned on, the sheet will unfold as the light gradually turns on. When off, the lights become brighter, the sheets expand more, and then slowly close.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The eagle lamp is an interactive lamp with anthropomorphic appearance and interactive function. Innovate the way to turn on and off the lamps and let users feel the freshness.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The user extends his hand over the lamp, within the infrared sensing range. From the bottom of the lamp post there will be a streamer, from bottom to top. The top three light rings light up slowly, and the sheets open When closed. Reach for infrared. The light becomes brighter and the sheets open more. Half a second later, the sheets close and the light turns dark. Return to the initial state.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in September 2019 in Shanghai and finished in November 2019 in Shanghai.

Need, infrared induction switch, LED light, controller, electrical push rod and other parts. The main materials are polyethylene and metal.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This lamp is a decorative lamp to create an atmosphere for users. Let users like to use it and be willing to show it to friends. Can produce a sense of dependence. By studying the interaction between people and lamps, it is found that the air separation control is a good way, such as infrared, voice control and so on. Anthropomorphic and bionic design can make users like it more, close to life and nature. In the use process, it can make users have a sense of novelty, interaction and create an atmosphere.

CHALLENGE:
The difficulty lies in the application of materials and the realization of technology. How to make the page from close to open, how to control the change of light, how to design the shadow of light on the ground. First of all, the electrical push rod is needed to make the sheet from closing to opening. Because of the large size, three layers of lampshade are added inside the lamp to cover it. In addition, the push rod needs to be programmed. In terms of materials, metal and other materials are expensive and difficult to polish. It is difficult to integrate the whole lamp.
