| DESIGN NAME: Burning Snow PRIMARY FUNCTION: Art photography book INSPIRATION: Bernard faucon is a french photographer and the french grand prix national award winner. with respect to the design philosophy, black, white and grey were chose as the keynote. The dust jacket of the cover is made of pvc, showing a resemblance of transparent film. the inner cover emphasizes faucon is photography concept.tiny shrunken photos scatters around like snowflakes echo the book title burning snow. the book title is hidden in the cover photo with a sense of mystery, just like the legendary life of Bernard Faucon. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The cover shows layering with the dust jacket and the inner cover of mounted chipboard. the book title is centered on the dust jacket in order to highlight the theme. the inner cover emphasizes faucon is photography concept. the concept of return to innocence of faucon is photography is presented with simple colors. the 32k section sewing hardback book is easy to read and of good quality. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: PVC was chose to be the material of the bookmark as it was the material of camera films. And Bernard Faucon works were printed on the bookmarks.
