| DESIGN NAME: Connector PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: For designing Connector ring, I have inspired by Chehel Soton. The shapes which have been organized in this ring is consist of geometric shapes such as triangle and rhombus.These geometric shapes continuously repeat in the ring. The royal Chehel Soton castle was constructed by Safavi royal family in Esfahan. This castle was the only circle connection way between other castles and gardens which was named Naghshe Jahan by king. This ring also named Connector due to this exclusivity described as well as other specialty it has, the circle of love, prosperity and friendship. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Basically, The Connector was beautifully drawn by polygon that connects several triangles and rhombuses together. These shapes together cover the whole work with firm discipline. One of the unique creativity that used in the design is, blur the distance between lines and offsetting the shapes with blendsurface method. The sides of polygons were marked by mixing shining yellow gold on surfaces with sandblasted white gold for better shinning and beauty of ring. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This ring particularly designed for women’s hand fingers and it should be set a size for each customer seperatly. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in 13 July 2019 in Tehran and was completed in 9 August 2019 in Tehran. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 21k sandblast white gold and shined yellow gold. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Ring size: 52EU, Front view width 22mm and Top view width 17mm TAGS: Ring, Yellow, White, Gold RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The type and approach of the work is the design and render of ring connector.The shapes of triangle and rhombus are used in it’s design that are connected together in a structured order.Geometric shapes are abstract from the nature and a symbol of stability in change.The target society about this ring are ladies and of course gentlemen for showing their love to their love partners.The material used is 21k sandblast white and shined yellow gold.The style of the work is universal and it’s creating goal is the symbol of love and friendship reminding without race,religion,nation CHALLENGE: I wanted to make a ring that could be shiny and beautiful without the use of precious stones and that people from all walks of life could afford it.
