UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Since the design is located in the building of single-unit floors, the design team designated the entrance with external and internal sections. Furthermore, as this is the beginning of the spatial narrative for the rest of the interior without any hindrance in height-variation, and consequently, the planning of the private spaces dictated the bathroom of the master bedroom located with the surrounding greenery near the building, which can be readily harvested visually into the interior with the opening of windows.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Given the great park view, it allows the interior and the exterior to be connected, as the main design theme of this project. The deliberate installation of clear glass in the walk-in closet of the master bedroom with full-height glass in the bathroom so that the view permeating through to the bedroom, as a key mansion-like design feature.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In terms of the spatial layout, the designer defined spatial domains of the original un-finished interior with a clean-slate approach in opening up the original kitchen area with an open-plan of island layout to link up the kitchen with the dining area as a critical area for living and interaction, while demarcating this area with the living room, as well as bridging the two spaces in optimizing their compatibility.
CHALLENGE: As this project was started from an unfinished status, the interior spatial planning also needed t address the balanced symmetry to accommodate the structural beam in the middle of the living room.
