RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With the nostalgia of living in France by this newlywed couple, as well as needs for spacious spaces, an open-plan and circulating layout was created in emulating the exquisite French-styled luxury spatiality, as well as an imaginative ambiance in the connected public spaces with a mirror wall design mimicking that of Versailles Palace that amplified spatial perception with creative decorative motifs bring richer and livelier imagination into the interior.
CHALLENGE: As abstraction is made more likened to concretization, and in order to adhere to the abstract ideal of Realizing fantasy in space as an experience of French styling, the disposition and stylistic considerations of elements, materials and styling of the main spatial body, allowed an optimal balance between the virtual and the real, and the dynamic and the static, while considerations of functionality, fun, and fashion was maintained, being the biggest challenge of this project.
