| DESIGN NAME: Joy-Power Station PRIMARY FUNCTION: Intelligent Landscape Facilities INSPIRATION: Smart phones have become the electronic organs of modern people, with their daily life having been regularly trapped in the screen, and the possibility of unfamiliar social interaction in their public space having almost completely been deprived by the attractiveness of mobile phones, and their occasional look-up just to find a charging outlet. The design of the Force Station has been inspired by floating bubbles in the water, using the shape and rising buoyancy of blisters to create vitality for a pool of stagnant water, and thus increasing the chance of encounter and the possibility of communication for the public space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Force Station is a modular integrated multi-functional landscape product that provides rest, fitness, mobile phone charging and other services in moveable bubble-like landscape pavilions, attracting strangers to gather spontaneously in a free mode, providing power through the solar panels on the top, and achieving wireless network, monitoring, touch screen and other intelligent services, which will be installed in the main body as module components and can be replaced at any time according to the setting environment and requirements. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Force Station is an experimental project between Vision Company and Qinghai University, aiming to build a characteristic landscape facility on the campus of Qinghai University and create a public place that attracts students to gather spontaneously and socialize actively, which was initiated in November 2018 and will be completed in September 2019 on the campus of Qinghai University in Xining City, Qinghai Province. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Force Station is a multi-functional integrated landscape product, with solar panels set at the top in a covert manner, the angle of the panels adjustable, the light sensor and dimming LED light source arranged in the integrated ceiling. modular integrated floors provided with built-in cables, standard bolted fixtures, battery devices hidden in the floor so that they can be insulated and protected from freezing in winter, information query function based on the touch electronic screen and equipped with a WIFI router, scattered USB charging socket available for use everywhere, and modular integrated floor convenient for sports and fitness equipment, sports facilities and ground body fat scales and so on. CHALLENGE: The Force Station enables spontaneous crowd gathering through free charging and free Internet, as well as PK and sharing through interesting sports equipment to form an automated center of vitality, which in addition to application on campuses, can also be set up in urban public space, park green space, tourist scenic spots, and the like, and is equipped with fully automated power supply and service functions as the guarantee for its availability, reliability and loveliness. The integrated setting of service functions and the reliability and weather-ability of power system are the challenges faced by its designers in the design process.
