| DESIGN NAME: Triumphant Reach PRIMARY FUNCTION: Triumphant Reach INSPIRATION: My art work talk about the stages I have experienced In my personal life. and Sometimes I was Inspired from films, songs and novels I usually read، Triumphant Reach is my expression of the events and emotions happening in my life. I expressed this through my work on Photoshop. I went through a period of hopelessness and this was what I envisioned as my escape at the time. When one is held down by the negativities of life and the people surrounding them, they often feel there is no escape. When you reach the bottom, there Is only one way up. Once a person comes to realize, they gain an inner strength which I represented with the glow of light and the now triumphant hand reaches up. My overall feeling in which I want to convey in this piece is an emotion of freedom. I have conveyed the constant war between good and evil, to constant pull between positive energy and negative energy. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This piece was created as an outlet of expression. a courageous hand reaches through pits of negativity to triumph above all odds and break free from the darkness within. this surreal art piece was done using textures, camera raw dodge tool, burn tool pen tool and gradient tool. the mixture of colours and textures makes my art beautiful. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was completed in February 2016 in the city of Amman, Jordan. This piece has been a favourite amongst my fans. This has been featured in Behance Jordan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Triumphant Reach is an inspirational surreal art piece involving many techniques, primarily of photo manipulation. The piece successfully merges the pits of darkness with the triumphant reach to the light. The merger occurs between five different aspects, all completed on Photoshop. Triumphant reach is prepared firstly by using the ground image which is edited and manipulated to create a hole in the ground effect. The triumphant arm is them assembled and has lighting and colouring corrections applied to it. The dark arms are then inserted along with the branches and manipulated to make them realistic with the image. Textures are applied to the base of the arm to achieve a earth and damaged like effect. The clods are then applied to the foreground of the image. The smoke is dispersed at the base then finally the overall image is given some lighting tweaks to create the overall tone. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1800 by 1800 pixels TAGS: surreal art, photoshop, photography, digital art, photo manipulation, textures RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Methods included were the use of textures, camera raw dodge tool, burn tool pen tool and gradient tool to merge and manipulate the raw photographs. this was done by myself only CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of this design was the merging of the images while maintaining the same dimensions and angles them combining them with various tools to create the end product ADDED DATE: 2019-06-23 14:28:47 TEAM MEMBERS (1) : IMAGE CREDITS: Mohammad Noor, 2019. |
