RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research started with memories of voyages in Countries of the Far East, readings of old books of plants, walking through Italian gardens.
The colour palette found its force and point of light from the use of a strong red inspired by the Asian lacquer. After much pattern experimentation, working in various scales, the ideal final result with a repeat was chosen with its reversed dimensions of the elements.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to visually translate the theme of nature and classical elements in a contemporary yet elegant way.
