| DESIGN NAME: A Box of Happiness PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: The elapse of four seasons is just like a flashing moment. No matter how the light and shadows change, the true affection hiding behind the space remains the same. Chasing the light and shadows of diversified architecture, and seeking the leisurely and gathering musical notes, we are restlessly pursuing the most pleasant buildings, to capture the harmonious coexistence between lives and nature, and to return to the very original simplicity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Here is the old villa, standing in the center of this city, witnessing two decades of wears and tears. After the deconstruction, mending, and reconstruction, it throughout breaks its original structures, and wakes up with the blooming vigor and vitality, forming the unique and distinct architectural styles. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Over oceans and coasts, to find the place we love the most. Here is our house, the box of happiness sincerely wishing you were there, staying with me, and all behind us lies decades of years we’ve misspent together. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The stairs made by original wood go along the atrium, stretching to the courtyard, acting like the evergreen tree of lives, bringing harmony of lives and nature to us. Bedrooms and study room are on the second floor, fully satisfying the daily demands. The third floor is equipped with the climbing fitness room and outdoor leisure balcony, bringing private space for the family members to share the happiness, creating the warm and cozy family atmosphere, and intensifying the affectionate relations between each other. Old antiques are also decorated in the house, inserting the sense of culture into the house, and making it full of antique flavors and architectural life aesthetics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 360 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The atrium stretches across the whole space, starting from the allocation to make the areal division more reasonable, and pursue the balance between the sense of beauty and practical functions. The first floor balances the living room and dining room, connecting an outdoor garden. Hence, holographic and artistic living space with water, sunlight and daily lives is fully created. CHALLENGE: The overall outlets of this villa are clear and natty. The main part is composed of white walls and original teakwood, with floor-to-ceiling glass breaking limits of the space. When the light and shadows scattering into the room, various scenes in four diversified seasons are leaping indoors, echoing the sounds of rain and wind.
