| DESIGN NAME: Childlike PRIMARY FUNCTION: Children, Furniture INSPIRATION: Every time I saw my child sitting alone in a lonely room, surrounded by a group of indifferent furniture, I wanted to do something for him. I hope that he can embrace the whole world even if he is alone. So I chose the children's favorite animal image to make furniture. They can live with their favorite animals every day and have an interest in the natural world. Nothing is better than this. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Even if children are at home, they can be like being in nature. So I chose to use the image of a small animal to give furniture, it is hoped that these furniture can give children a sense of companionship. Breaking the traditional furniture brings the children a cold, strange feeling. Even if the child stays in the room for a whole day, it is like being in a zoo. Play with animal partners. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The packaging is simple and easy to understand, so that children can improve their hands-on ability, they can assemble furniture themselves. Lightweight enough to allow children to move the furniture in the room. Create your own natural life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design had started in December 2018 in Shenyang and was completed in January 2019 in Shenyang and is expected to be exhibited at the Art Museum of the LuXun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang at a later date. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Vertical Ock furniture is made of solid wood. The parts are interspersed and assembled by numerical control and manual processing. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The chair is 466 mm high and has a bottom diameter of 286 mm and a width of 324 mm. The table has a height of 379 mm, a bottom diameter of 257 mm and a width of 881 mm. The bed is 392 mm high and has a bottom diameter of 1920 mm and a width of 1081 mm. The bedside table is 212 mm high and has a bottom diameter of 1485 mm and a width of 317 mm. TAGS: Furniture, children, animals, solid wood, enamel, environmental protection, storage RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the current society, some children lack of companionship of the family. Based on this, I have improved the appearance and shape of the current furniture, giving children the joy of living in the zoo every day and satisfying children's emotional needs. The product is cute in shape, childlike in color, environmentally friendly materials, easy to recycle, and in line with the concept of contemporary social resource conservation. CHALLENGE: Pick out the animal images that kids love and combine them with existing furniture. And choose materials that can be moved even if the child is free.
