| DESIGN NAME: aider PRIMARY FUNCTION: Data Wire Holder INSPIRATION: In our life, the white-collar often used a variety of data lines while the complex data wire wound to cause confusion with the desktop and reduced efficiency. The tool's existing storage line to a one-time, or unfriendly with environment or easy to lose. We want to achieve a variety of functions with the most simple form, therefore to design a data wire holder which can truly effective help people working. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designed for white-collar workers and students,Designed to accommodate desktops that are disturbed by data lines. Such handy ribbon beamlines may better line data storage, the product silicone outer wrap inner magnet, the metal can be adsorbed onto the desktop for easy access but uneasy to lose. At the same time, it can also satisfy a variety of functions, such as acting as a post-it note,bookmarking and becoming a powerful helper on the desk. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Like "Band-Aid" PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in Beijing in April 2018 and was completed in London in February 2019. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product consists of a magnet and an environmentally friendly silica gel. We tried to wrap magnets with various materials, such as silicone, EVA and suede, and finally found that silica gel is the toughest and most suitable for this product. In future production, silica gel can be poured into the mold and we are experimenting with other possibilities. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Aider：:Length 73mm x Width 12mm x Height 5mm TAGS: Storage, Office products, Multifunction, Environmentally friendly design, Efficien RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It took us five months and more than a thousand copies released survey questionnaire to collect information on people's feedback, we found that people have a great demand for effective data storage product line. Combined with the practical application of the scene people and analyzed similar products on the market, we set the holder of sizes and materials, produced a model while exploring various possibilities to bring these simple structural applications. CHALLENGE: The hardest part is to determine the form of the product and find the magnet can meet the requirements.
