| DESIGN NAME: L.Z. DESSART PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visual communication design INSPIRATION: Distinguishing from the regular dessert poster images, the brand spirits, based on the boundlessness, create the visual images of no gravity, of no restriction, and full of logical imaginations that, by means of consolidating the shop’s decoration materials such as marble, terrazzo and artificial stone paint, demonstrate one-of-a-kind visual intensity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Some of the product packages adorned with the holographic film are as pure as clear water and as gorgeous as rainbow. The product designs, for this shop, imaginatively spawn the mood of sea world that is clean and fascinating. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The brand attributes, therefore, reciprocally correspond in visibility and space so as to accomplish the brand integrity. Boundless, ruleless, and limitless. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The application of standard colors represented by the pure white and the pantone cool gray 10 C, which has no saturation of color, that symbolize the colors of lights reflections. The application of the contours, derived from the concepts of ocean currents and whales, makes known to the shop products, all of which are packaged with the pure white pearl papers and into the sleek appearances. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The abstract lines make the inception and ending appear the infinitely iterative senses of the 3-dimension space. TAGS: Interior Design, Space, Shop design, Graphic design, Visual RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The 6-Inch cake box, the 2-pc mousse box, and the long cake box: Every gift box can be unwrapped to its minimized size, which reduces the packaging wastes and makes the storage easier. Distinct from most of the rectangular gift boxes, the shop’s packaging ideas using either the exquisite pearl white papers or the holographic films artistically simulate the pure clean but fascinating sea world, which better represents as the conceptual image of the gift boxes. CHALLENGE: The dessert box design is inspired from the appearance of chambered nautilus displaying a mathematical pattern of golden spiral, which figuratively symbolizes that every piece of the handmade chocolate is as perfect in its flavor as the perfection of golden ratios. Artistically resembling the shell of chambered nautilus, each chocolate box contains 12 pieces of the adored chocolate that are amazingly spread out as the box is opening. The visual effect, displaying chocolate one piece at a time gradually unfolding the box, is full of surprises and imaginations.
