| DESIGN NAME: Time-honored POWER PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: This enterprise will still take the leading position in the market for a long period of time, therefore, we adopt the consistent brand image, but inject the succinct and sophisticated impression into the time-honored enterprise, and thus present you this classic design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This space planning case is for the headquarter office of a brand with more than 30 years’ history. The long-term durability of material and space allocation are mainly considered during the overall planning. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This company specializes in the production and sale of construction hardware. The products are derived from nature, therefore, the overall space design is based on natural elements such as iron, wood and glass to echo the respect for nature. The color of space is dominated by black, gray and white to give a hint that the classic design will never be erased by time, as well as to symbolize the sustainable innovation of the enterprise. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The headquarters has two floors. The downstairs is for the reception counter, the product display area and the employee training classroom. The reception area is marked by white aluminum extrusion shape light belt symbolizing the lightning. The linear beams are refracted to the three-dimensional surfaces of the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 520 square meters TAGS: Interior Design,office,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With the matte cement texture floor and iron elements, this gradient gray change and cold-tuned texture interspersed with linear beams create a unique entrance. The cast iron floor elements echo the entrance and extend to the product display area. The ring design for the visiting direction allows for the merchandise to be displayed on the walls and the central axis block. CHALLENGE: The displays are dense and orderly like a boutique display, however, the atmosphere of industry and technology is retained. The employee classroom presents a sense of spatial sequence with axle lamps. The upstairs contains a large open office area, chairman's office, finance office, conference room and others. The element of iron, stone and wood ties that represent nature are applied here for space transformation. The asymmetry of the display brings a kind of rhythm to the space. The light belt is re-appeared in the office. The ceiling is painted with the special cement paint forming the texture of the rock stratum.
