DESIGN DETAILS
DESIGN NAME:
Jenga

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Ornamental tea set

INSPIRATION:
Inspired by squares that can be seen everywhere in life, the teapots are combined into teapots of different shapes to form two different styles, and finally the combination is completed. Orderly and casual interweave, reflecting the " harmonious" design concept, flexible and changeable, full of fun. The appearance color of the teapot does not add any other glaze color, but retains the original color of the soil. This simple style reflects our yearning for a simple and natural life.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Each square is made by plaster casting technology and then spliced by hand. The teapot shape is derived from two different combinations of multiple squares.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This requires the completion of the guidance of the designer.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project was started in China in August 2018 and completed in China in September 2018.

FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY:
Fine Arts and Art Installation Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The process is completed by gypsum pouring and grouting, and intentional splicing and superposition are carried out. The small series is formed by the combination of squares with different thicknesses, and the large series is finally formed by different splicing forms. The kettle body, the kettle cover and the kettle handle all contain square elements to form a complete series of teapots. Because of the use of Chinese Dehua's unique white porcelain clay, the color of the teapot after firing is white. Simple in shape, elegant in color and rich in design.
