DESIGN NAME: Bumblebee
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Firefighters Flashlight
INSPIRATION: What an amazing feeling to get inspiration from nature to help people , it was honor to use some magnificent features of bumblebee in design progress. actually when team decided to observe awesome creature just care about appearance but then something fantastic was founded , yellowblack sting of bumblebee could be dense or compact in special conditions so its not only about bionic design form but also shows the pure philosophy of production .
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It was clear if these properties take part in project it will be beneficial in every way so team started to match them with different portions of flashlight then the traditional form changed into new look based on these characteristics reduced mechanism , soft touch fireproof silicone body with magnet part like stingcarbon fiber inner construction main theme and using the newest graphene charging technology which is going to be common soon along with GPS small kit that is placed in object .
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In fact interaction was the most important phase for team along with profitable materials because in emergency situations that firefighters might be involved in the first priority would be saving time so team actually considered this item just by two steps , pulling and twisting another factor was function due to experience it , in addition all of them made a multitasking system which work together .
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was started in October 2017 and finished in January 2018 then exhibited in the end of January 2018 at university in Tehran , Iran .

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Team tried to choose some materials that could provide valuable functions in this category for example silicone plastic which has similar feature or nanocells in charging plate , fireproof fabric handle , all of these steps have been designed in solidworks software then team did some professional edits in photoshop CC to improve alternative aspects .
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Length 200mm width 100mm height 100mm LEDs next generation tech with with ultraviolet feature to locate specific places of injured people , silicone fireproof body cover , inner constructionmade by carbon fiber to make lightweight object , magnet part with powerful poles and GPS common system .

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Main attention was formed after the Plasco accident in January 2017 that 22 firefighters were killed in Iran so team started researching to find some solutions for tough situations and hope to solve troubles for example using specific materials that is common in industries to make this object so lightweight with unique form base on more beneficial functions then team reached to this satisfactory level .
CHALLENGE: The main challenge is manufacturing that you can consider it as a limitation , team did not have enough facilities in iran to produce this object as good as top standards so team tried to use simple parts which every regular object has , forexample GPS small system kit to locate each of firefighters , turn on the flashlight just by twiting its main head utilize magnet part and other portions so as you can observe , team used common technologies that could help humanity as well .
